Happy Monday!

A successful weekend spent relaxing, gym, sun baking, wedding ceremony stuff and exploring Singapore's newest exhibitions.

Yesterday I was feeling Grecian (maybe in preparation for my upcoming nuptials, which is sort of the theme I am going for). Walking through Marina Bay's Art Science Museum in the DreamWorks Animation exhibition you have to respect the amount of work that goes into those movies. Incredibly talented people with copious amounts of patience.

The Deep exhibition showed the latest collection of deep-sea animals. I have to admit; some of the fish way down get scarier looking (and might I say miserable) the further south that's explored. These creatures do not look happy. I can't say I would when you never get to see the sunshine and your biggest daily accomplishment is to not be eaten by something bigger than you.

The next thing on the agenda... Coffee... Where is all the good coffee in Singapore??? Dying for one I paid $8 in MBS' TCC, taking it straight back for a refund due the burnt coffee taste and the milk being heated way over the burning threshold. Of course they didn't understand what I meant by burnt coffee and reached to smell the coffee beans that were being used.

People, it's not about the money, you have to let these people know that in order to charge $8 for a coffee, the product must live up to it's name, whether it's Jimmy Choo's or a plain cafe latte (which you don't sprinkle with chocolate might I add hahaha).

My fiancé hates getting coffee with me as I only end up drinking half of them, most of the time not bothering to complain. I swear I never had this problem in Sydney. I think I've been spoilt in regards to good coffee and can no longer go back! So I'll keep trying, continuously the optimist!
