If the amazing landscapes don’t inspire you, the people and their get up and keep going attitude will. The earthquakes have shattered their cities and still their optimistic outlook is unshakable and totally infectious.
Flying into Christchurch
Lake Tekapo, the most beautiful and calming place
Hitting the slopes of Queenstown – breathtaking views
Horse riding in Glenorchy near where scenes of Lord of the Rings was filmed
And of course, sheep in the way on the road home. Where all delightful wool products start from
Christ Church Cathedral ruins – decorated by the community with paintings and beautiful flowers
