sam, You Are the Man

So here we are, my third blog of 2015 and I’ve already fallen victim to another new years resolution failure – to blog once per week. It’s already been 11 days since my last post. Where does the time go? New years resolutions are just a positive way for us all to make a fresh start, leaving the problems and unmet dreams to the year before. However, I love them and every year I make my list.

Another resolution being to visit a new museum, art gallery or place of creative abundance once per week.

So first off the rank this year, sam! sam, Singapore Art Museum, has a beautiful collection of contemporary art. Walking through each room makes you appreciate just how talented some people are. Their talent lies in the way their art moves you.

The building itself is very beautiful. Built originally in 1855 it made many transformations before opening it’s doors as a museum in 1996. You can easily get lost in it’s many wings and floors but that’s all apart of the charm. I could never tire of visiting museums and galleries – something about the way you feel leaving them. Inspiration, renewed dedication and excitement.
