The S.E.A Kingdom

Time for another Singapore adventure… it’s off to S.E.A Aquarium on Sentosa Island, actually the world’s largest aquarium. And I must say, it definitely lived up to its name.

Large glass panels allow you to see plenty, despite at times the overcrowding. There is a huge variety of interesting and not to mention colourful, marine life. But there’s always one typical tourist at each window loudly tapping on it, trying fruitlessly to grab the attention of whatever poor sea creature is inside.

The tanks were filled with Christmas trees, presents as well as decorations, adding a very festive feeling to a place I didn’t know could be festive.

A good way to spend a Saturday afternoon for an Australian trying to become as local as a Singaporian can be. Visitors will start staying with us in early January next year so I need to ensure I have most of the tourist attractions down packed! Aside from that, the organic patterns and colours I found on these amazing creatures have provided me with more than enough inspiration for my new luxury tie and pocket square collection.

Next week it’s off to Sydney, Australia. I’ll be sure to take some more inspirational photos while I’m there as well as in Malaysia straight after.

Enjoy the lead up to the Christmas season and stayed tuned for more travel, inspiration and design ideas in 2015!
